Corporate beekeeping in North Hesse

Bee colonies
on your company grounds.

Corporate beekeeping and corporate sponsorship: a bee project that connects your business with the seasons. Personally managed by beekeepers Johannes and Philipp Ballier, with insights for your team and honey of traceable origin.

Kassel and North Hesse (Nordhessen), with other locations considered individually. Together, we assess whether your site and the scope of your project are suitable for an apiary with ongoing care.

Our established apiary in Kassel-Kirchditmold. An insight into our work; this is not a corporate project.

One site. A shared project.

You provide the space.
We care for the bees.

The project begins with a site assessment. We consider the space available, the surroundings, the bees’ flight paths, visitor routes and reliable access for beekeeping visits. Travel and the visits needed to care for the colonies are also part of the planning.

We then prepare a tailored quotation, with an appropriate number of colonies, an agreed scope of services and a suitable start date. Larger apiaries can also be considered following an assessment.

What the project includes

Care, insights
and your own honey jars.

The planned services combine beekeeping with a project story that is personal to your business. We agree the final terms and details with you before entering into a contract.

Setting up and caring for the colonies

Throughout the beekeeping year.

The planned care includes site assessment and installation, seasonal inspections, swarm management, feeding, preventive bee health care and overwintering. The bees and hives remain the property of the beekeepers. The terms for using the site are set out in the contract.

Honey with a clear origin

From the apiary to the label.

Your apiary’s harvest is kept separate and bottled separately. We agree the mix of 250 g and 500 g jars and the handover date together. The honey quantity and arrangements for years with a smaller harvest must be expressly agreed before the contract is concluded.

Shared experiences

Your team at the apiary.

Planned visits offer an insight into the colony, time for questions with the beekeeper and a small honey tasting. Dates, group size, weather conditions, protective equipment and arrangements for a safe visit are agreed in advance.

Designed for your business

Your logo on the jar.

Your company logo and a personal message turn the honey into a thoughtful gift for employees or clients. The planned services include label design, one round of revisions, printing and labelling. You approve the design before it goes to print.

Following the year

Insights through photographs.

Short photo updates let your team follow the project’s progress. Use on your intranet, website or in company communications is agreed together with the image rights and intended purpose.

Planning your gifts

A gift with a story.

Whether for Christmas, an anniversary or a personal thank-you, jar sizes, design and your preferred handover date are considered early in the planning. Available harvests and the agreed quantities are taken into account.

Optional additions

More to give.
More to experience together.

These additions are offered separately, according to your wishes, feasibility and availability. Prices are available on request.

Additional honey jars

Extra quantities with your label for clients, employees, trade fairs or anniversaries. Quantities, jar sizes and available harvests are agreed with you.

Ready to give

Gift boxes, paper bands and personal greeting cards; assembled on request and prepared for sending to individual recipients.

Team days and workshops

Further guided visits, additional small groups or a more detailed workshop. Time slots and the level of support for larger teams are planned separately.

Your project’s own story

A company project page with site photographs, a review of the year and a QR code on the jar. Content and usage rights are agreed in advance.

A tasting at your workplace

A honey tasting in the office, perhaps to launch the project, at a Christmas celebration or for clients. Different harvests and their origins are at the heart of the experience.

Enhancing your grounds

Flowering areas or properly built nesting structures for wild bees can be added following a separate assessment. Planning and maintenance are discussed separately, with suitable partners where needed.

Thoughtful planning.
Ongoing care.

  1. Assess the site and scope

We consider the grounds, surrounding forage, flight paths, visitor routes, access, travel and the appropriate number of colonies.

We install the colonies on the agreed date. Beekeeping care continues through the season and over winter.

  4. Follow the beekeeping year

Your team follows the project through agreed photo updates and apiary visits.

  5. Design and hand over the honey

Jar sizes, labels and the handover date are agreed together. Once you have approved the design, the jars are prepared with your company logo and clear origin labelling.

Good to know

Questions before
our first conversation.

Where do you offer corporate beekeeping?

In Kassel and North Hesse, with other locations considered individually. Travel, the frequency of care visits, number of colonies, working time and project scope all inform the quotation. Please start by telling us the postcode and town.

Do you also offer corporate sponsorship?

You are in the right place for corporate sponsorship too. Tell us about your project and preferred region. We assess each enquiry individually to establish the form and scope of a possible partnership. Services, honey quantity and opportunities to follow the project are set out in your personal quotation.

Are our company grounds suitable?

We establish this during the site assessment. Relevant factors include the surroundings, space, flight paths, visitor routes and reliable access to the area where the colonies will be cared for. A short description of the grounds helps with the first conversation, but is not enough for us to confirm suitability.

Who does the beekeeping work?

Beekeeping care is part of the project. Your company provides the agreed space and allows access as arranged. Responsibilities and procedures are set out before the colonies are installed.

How much honey will we receive?

The honey quantity and arrangements for a smaller harvest or a harvest failure are agreed in your individual project framework. If honey from other apiaries is added to your order, it is bottled separately and labelled with its actual origin. The harvest from your company grounds remains unmixed.

Can our team visit the bees?

Visits are planned as part of the project. Dates, group size, suitable weather conditions and protective equipment are agreed with you. Allergy information, visitor routes, any necessary barriers and insurance arrangements must be clarified before each activity.

Who owns the bees and hives?

The bees and hives remain the property of the beekeepers. Duration, use of the site and arrangements at the end of the project are set out in the contract.

When can the project begin?

The start depends on the site assessment, the season and our care schedule. Let us know your preferred start date, and we will assess what is possible for your project.

The first step

Your site.
Our first conversation.

Tell us briefly about your company, the site and what you have in mind. An approximate number of colonies, your preferred start date or an interest in team activities and gifts will help us assess your enquiry.

Once we have assessed the site and the project’s financial viability, you receive a tailored quotation. Your enquiry is non-binding.

We use your details to prepare an email for you to send yourself. Your enquiry is non-binding.
